Here are some of the technologies we use.
Anaesthesia
A significant minority of patients feel anxiety or discomfort during dental procedures. We use anaesthesia when appropriate so you stay comfortable.
Conscious sedation
For higher anxiety we offer conscious sedation as well as local anaesthesia. It’s available at the clinic when appropriate.
2D and 3D imaging
In addition to the clinical exam we use high-tech imaging to support diagnosis. These exams are essential for spotting and planning treatment of oral conditions.
Intraoral scanner
Intraoral scanners turn impressions into digital 3D models. We use them at DentoFisis so we get an accurate picture of your teeth without traditional moulds.
Surgical guide
For implant surgery we use a guide that shows exactly where each implant goes. The procedure is simpler, more precise and recovery is smoother.
GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy)
We follow the GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) protocol for hygiene: minimally invasive, safe for teeth, crowns, implants and soft tissue.
Laser
Laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Erbium lasers, for example, are powerful and safe, and widely used in dentistry.
Ozone
Ozone supports blood flow and immune response. In dentistry it’s used alongside conventional treatment for decay, gum procedures and root canal work.
CAD/CAM
We digitise the mouth and work from 3D models in software. That improves results for inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers and fixed prosthetics.
DSD (Digital Smile Design)
Digital Smile Design shows your future smile before we start. We adjust the design until we’re both happy, then work toward that result.
